The opportunity
We’re looking for a designer who connects user needs with thoughtful visual design. You’ll help define how our digital experiences look, feel, and work, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to move from a problem statement to an implementable design. We’re interested in your reasoning and process as much as the finished screens.
What you’ll do
- Translate business goals and user needs into journeys, information architecture, and practical user flows.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished interfaces for responsive web and mobile experiences.
- Use research, usability feedback, and product context to explain and refine your design decisions.
- Build and maintain reusable components, interaction patterns, and design documentation.
- Work with engineers on handoff and implementation reviews, including loading, empty, error, and accessibility states.
What you’ll bring
- A portfolio that demonstrates your design process, problem-solving, and visual execution.
- Confidence with Figma or an equivalent interface design and prototyping tool.
- Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and interaction design.
- An understanding of responsive behavior, accessible design, and usability principles.
- The ability to present work clearly, discuss tradeoffs, and respond thoughtfully to feedback.
A little extra, if you have it
These are useful additions, not requirements.
- Experience planning or conducting usability studies.
- Experience contributing to a design system.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and familiarity with engineering constraints.
